The first consultation takes 60 to 90 minutes and goes into great detail about your health, your medical history and any emotional stress you may be feeling now or have experienced in the past.

This process is often therapeutic in itself.

Further consultations are usually 30 minutes

I will either prescribe for you at the end of the first consultation or I will send you a remedy within a few days. How often I treat you and over what period of time will depend on the nature of your illness. Normally, once you are responding well to remedies, your appointments will be every four to six weeks and will last 40 minutes. The interval between appointments will increase as your health improves.

I can offer a telephone consultation with you if you are ill, cannot get to the clinic or you if need attention at short notice.

HOLISTIC APPROACH

Homeopathic treatment is holistic so all symptoms, new and old, are relevant. Contact me between appointments if you are having difficulty recovering from an illness, accident or a new symptom.

TREATMENT OF CHILDREN

First consultations with children usually take an hour and it is helpful to have both parents present initially. Homeopathic remedies can help children recover quickly and completely from infections and childhood diseases. Where possible, I will provide you with remedies so you can treat the child yourself, but I will also usually be available at short notice to prescribe for him or her when you need help.

Always take the child to his or her GP or A and E immediately if you are concerned that he or she may be seriously ill - remedies can work alongside conventional medicine in such cases
